April Class Details Up Now..

Hello!

Rather later than intended (I'd like a good reason, but it's just 'cause I got my dates muddled!), the booking information is now up for April's "Cards... and More" classes and Scrapbooking Club.

I'm loving the stamp set we're going to be using in the "Cards... and More" class! "Perfect Postage" is a really sweet little set from the Spring Mini-Catalogue, and it works really well for a huge variety of cards and other projects. It's only available until the end of April and, if you choose to order one of the Class Bundles, you can get it at a discount on the catalogue price. The set co-ordinates beautifully with the Postage Stamp punch, which will also be disappearing at the end of April, and the second of my Class Bundles will give you the stamp set AND the punch, as well as the class, for a total saving of over £10.

Click here for specific class information, and here for general information about my classes and the venues at which they take place. Do look out for the amazing special offer the Pennikkity Pots ladies are making to everyone who books on one of my classes at their studio.

As usual, you can book by clicking on the PayPal link in the sidebar, or contact me for details of how to pay by cheque or bank transfer (the latter two are a bit more work for you, but save me quite a bit in PayPal fees - it's your choice!).

Looking forward to seeing you at one or more of my April classes! If you want any more information you can contact me by phone or by email and I'll help all I can. Just don't forget - if it's the "Cards... and More" classes you're interested in, you need to book your place by 30th March.

One last little reminder: you have less than a week of Sale-A-Bration left. If you want to add to, or complete your collection of Sale-A-Bration gifts, then you need to get your orders (one free gift with every £45 order placed) to me by 6pm on 31st March. Any later than that and I can't guarantee getting your order submitted in time. Don't leave it too late!

Thanks for popping in, and I'll see you soon.

Hugs,

Don't Forget To Sale-A-Brate!

Hello!

Well, I'm up and running again after a very busy Tuesday that meant I've had to rest for a couple of days. It was SO worth it, though, I went up to do the guest slot at a WI near to the village where I used to live - a HUGE hello to the Whittlesey Ladysmith ladies, and thank you all for making me so welcome! We had such a fab time! I didn't want to just talk (and I'm sure they didn't want me to, either) so I got them crafting. Everyone made a gorgeous folded bookmark and a bright and breezy card, and the buzz of happy ladies chatting and crafting was a joy to hear. You can see similar bookmarks here and I'll put a photo of the card up as soon as I take one - I should probably have done this already, but I didn't think earlier (I said I've been tired) and the light is a bit dodgy now.

Now that the booking for our Craft Day is over, it's time to remind you again that you can still take advantage of the fantastic offers Stampin' Up! has for you during Sale-A-Bration. But you have to HURRY, 'cause you only have until the end of March. So, if somehow you've missed what Sale-A-Bration is all about (you've been in outer space, perhaps?), if you click here you can see full details. In short - FREE GIFTS for everyone, be you a customer, a hostess or a potential new Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I have loved the offerings this year, the stamp sets and papers have been so amazing! Which one is your favourite? My customers have been going mad for this one:

Fresh Vintage Stamp Set
I love it too, and have to admit that I will be VERY sad to see it go. Yes, this set, and the other three exclusive Sale-A-Bration sets - as well as the exquisite Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper - will be retiring in just two weeks' time, so you need to get your skates on if you don't want to miss out.

Remember - Sale-A-Bration sets are just that: Sale-A-Bration sets. Once they've gone, they won't be back. At all. And if you haven't got yours by then, well... that would be a shame now, wouldn't it!

If you haven't completed your set of Sale-A-Bration free gifts then there is still time. You can call me or email your order to me, and I can have it delivered direct to your door for just £4.95 or, if you can collect from me then I'll be able to split the shipping cost between everyone placing orders at that time. But don't leave it too late, the latest I can submit orders to Stampin' Up! to get free Sale-A-Bration goodies is the evening of 31st March. Realistically, I need your orders by 6:00pm that evening in order to be sure I can get them on the system in time. DON'T LEAVE IT TOO LATE!

If you can't decide what you want to order, because you want EVERYTHING, then why not sign up as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and get your orders at a discount. If you sign up during Sale-A-Bration then you even get an extra stamp set from the catalogue (of any value!) absolutely FREE. But the deadline for this is earlier - I have to get paperwork to Stampin' Up! by 2:00pm on Friday 30th March. Click here for more information about joining my team and then call me or email me NOW to get your application started.

Back soon; thanks for dropping in.

Hugs,

Another Craft Day Sneak Peek - and Hello To Ipswich Library-Goers!

Hello! Another Craft Day sneak peek for you - this one is from the gorgeous scrapbooking project we will be creating. I'm really excited about it, and it's getting closer now, only a few more days left for you to book your place. All you need to do is to click on the link in the sidebar...

This post is rather later in the the day than I'd intended. I've spent much of today at the Ipswich Library Craft Fair and I've had a lovely time (although I did need to crash out for a couple of hours when I got home). I love these events; because Stampin' Up! products aren't available in the shops, they give everyone the chance to see how beautiful they are in real life. It's one thing to look at photographs in our catalogues - gorgeous though they are - it's entirely another to be able to pick them up, touch them and really appreciate what we have to offer. Here's the picture I took of my stand (with apologies to the gentleman standing behind it!):

I met some really lovely people today (hello to all of you!) and it was great to be able to share my love of crafting with them. I'll be at the library one Saturday every month, just check out the dates in the sidebar.
I'd love to meet you too, so if you're in Ipswich on any of these dates, do pop in and say hello!

Thanks for dropping in, and I'll be back soon.

Hugs,

March Class Projects - Quick and Easy Cards

Hello!

I loved preparing for this month's "Cards and More" classes. The theme was "quick and easy cards", and I wanted to go right back to basics with this one. It's so easy for crafters to over-complicate what they make, so I wanted to demonstrate that projects can be just as effective when they are really simple in their design. Here is what we made:

I had several people attend my classes for the first time this month, among them some who had never done any crafting before - everyone is welcome. Everyone made two of each card, and I encouraged them to vary their projects if they wanted to - I see my job as to help people to discover their  creativity rather than following my designs exactly (although if that's what they want to do, then that's fine too!). The simple designs gave the new crafters a huge amount of confidence, and those who were more experienced enjoyed the freedom from the pressure to over-embellish. We had such a good time!

Here's a closer look at each card.

I hope you like them, and that you will be encouraged to strip your card-making right back to basics too. Simple can be good!

Thanks for looking, and I'll be back soon. Don't forget to book your place on our Craft Day; you have less than a week now...

Just Seven Days Left To Book Your Craft Day Place....

Hello! I'm still hopping around with excitement at the thought of sharing a whole day crafting with you. Here's another little peek at one of the projects we'll be working on at our Craft Day on 31st March. In fact, I'm going to spoil you today and give you TWO sneak peeks! I know... I'm too good to you...

You have just seven days left to book your place, as we have to close booking at 10:00pm on Wednesday 14th March. We won't be able to take late bookings, so please do make sure, if you want to attend, that you don't miss the deadline! You can book by clicking on the PayPal link in the sidebar or, of course, you can call or email me to reserve your place.

If you want more information about the Craft Day, then just click here and you'll be taken direct to the relevant page.

I've been asked, why the early booking date? Well, we've put a lot of thought and care into the planning of this Craft Day, and we want to be able to take as much care in putting together your goodie bags for the day. We will be ordering specifically for everyone who has booked and, as well as all the products you will need to complete the planned projects (and more besides!), we will be giving everyone who attends a handmade gift - so of course we need to give ourselves a little time to make these!

Thanks for popping in, and do come back tomorrow, when I'll show you the projects we've been making at this month's "Cards and More" classes.

Hugs,

Becki

Can You Tell What It Is Yet?

Hello!

Another sneak peek for you today, of one of the projects we have lined up for you on our forthcoming Craft Day.

Am I giving too much away? You just wait till you see the projects as a whole - we're SO excited about them! You can book by clicking on the link in the sidebar.

Back soon. I've another "Tools of My Trade" project to show you, as soon as I get it finished. Guess what I'm going to be working on later today!

Thanks for visiting.

Craft Day Sneak Peek

Hello!

Time goes so quickly! There is just over a week left to book your place on the Craft Day that I'm organising with two of my team, and we've been working hard preparing sample projects so we can give you a sneak peek. Here's a tantalising little glance at one of the projects:

I'll be putting up more previews over the next few days. If you can't wait, then you need to click on the link in the sidebar to join my mailing list, as I've just mailed out more sneak peeks to my subscribers...

If I've whetted your appetite, then you can find full details by clicking here, and you can book your place by clicking on the PayPal link in the sidebar. If you don't (or don't want to) use PayPal, then drop me an email or call me (my number's in the sidebar) and I'll talk you through the other ways of paying. You have until 10:00pm on Wednesday 14th March to secure your place.

In the meantime, Sale-A-Bration is continuing apace and it's been wonderful to be able to spend time with so many lovely crafters at workshops and classes, sharing what I love with them and helping them to earn exclusive free stamp sets (click here if you want more information about how you can get your hands on these gorgous gifts). There are only a few weeks left to go, and everyone is definitely making the most of it!

On a non-crafting note, what a weekend it was! Alan and I got SOAKED at our allotment on Sunday, pegging out beds and pathways in the howling wind and driving rain. At least we hadn't parked on site, 'cause from the look of the one car that had been parked there, it wasn't going to be getting out for quite some little time - it had sunk up to its wheel-rims in mud! There was no-one around, so the driver had obviously given up all hope and abandoned it for the day. I hope they managed to retrieve it eventually, although I suspect they would have had to borrow a tractor. I hadn't realised quite how much clay there was in the soil - anyone know of a cheap supplier of (huge amounts of) well-rotted manure in the Ipswich area?

Thanks, as always, for dropping in to visit. I'll be back again soon.

Hugs,

Becki

I Love Fresh Vintage!

Hello!

I am sooooo going to miss the Fresh Vintage stamp set when this year's Sale-A-Bration ends! Have a look at this card, really quite simple but I love it...

The Designer Series Paper is from the Subtles DSP Stack, overstamped with some of the smaller stamps from the set. The sentiment is from another fab Sale-A-Bration set, "Elementary Elegance".

If you love this set as much as I do then please make sure you don't miss out - it's only available until the end of March. Until then, you can choose it free with an order of £45 (excluding shipping), so do get in touch to place your order before it's too late.

Back soon. Thanks for visiting.
